Mini golf

Enjoy two very different miniature golf course!

Fantasia Gardens– Putt your way through five musical sequences from Fantasia. The Gardens course is best suited for families and beginning golfers. The whimsical course holes have names like Toccata and Fugue (good shots are rewarded with musical tones), The Nutcracker Suite (obstacles include dancing mushrooms), The Pastoral Symphony (a 40-foot-tall Mount Olympus complete with waterfalls), and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” starring Mickey Mouse, his troop of out-of-control broomsticks and dazzling water effects.

Winter Summerland– This course also offers two miniature golf courses where Santa and his elves come to play. The winter course has 18 holes of chilling fun as you make your way to the North Hole. The Summer course features 18 holes of fun in the sun with sandcastles, surfboards and a melting snowman.

* $12 for kids 3-9 and $14 for people 10+ (also something you can do if you purchase the Water Parks Fun and More park tickets) Hours are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Penny Press Machines

There are SO many souvenirs you can choose from at Disney World that range from free (like guide maps) to very expensive (limited edition lithographs and figurines). Some of the more economical and fun souvenirs are the Pressed Penny and Pressed Quarter! The Souvenir Pressed Coin Machines will imprint a design (press) on a penny for two quarters (51 cents total) or on a quarter for four quarters ($1.25 total). This is probably one of the least expensive souvenirs, unless you want to collect all of them!

*For best results, use pennies made in 1982 or prior. Pennies made after 1983 have zinc sandwiched between the copper coating and will leave silver streaks in the pressed penny and will not hold the shape as nicely as all copper pennies.

These are just a few of the many experiences you can take part of at the Walt Disney World resort. There is more to Disney than just theme parks and resorts!
