Which Walt Disney World Resorts offer cabana and patio rentals?
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort offer cabana rentals for resort guests. These cabanas are stationed at the resorts’ feature pools. Additionally, Disney’s Polynesian Resort offers Oasis Patio rentals for resort guests near the leisure pool. Cabanas and patios can be reserved for a maximum of 6 guests, and one guest must be at least 18 years or older.
What’s included in these cabana and patio rentals?
Cabana rentals include 2 padded lounge chairs, 2 padded straight-back chairs, plush towels, an LCD television with cable access, Bluetooth speakers, a phone for internal resort calls, a ceiling fan, a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary sodas and water, and a fruit basket. The Oasis Patio rentals include a covered patio, a couch, coffee table, and 3 padded chairs.
What’s the cost of cabana and patio rentals?
Pricing is seasonal for cabana and patio rentals. Guests are welcome to reserve a cabana for a full-day rental (10AM – 7PM) for $149 plus tax during off-season times and $249 plus tax during peak seasons. Half day rentals (10AM – 2PM or 3PM – 7PM) are also available starting at $99 plus tax during the off-season and increasing to $159 plus tax during peak seasons. The Oasis Patios are also offered for full and half day rentals. These start at $40 plus tax for a full day rental and $25 plus tax for half day rentals; however, these prices increase during peak seasons.
Where else might I rent a cabana?
All guests can rent cabanas at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! These cabanas can only be rented for a full day (10AM – 7PM). Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon offers 12 Beachcomber Shacks, which are shaded cabanas that include amenities like cushioned furniture, refillable mugs, a private locker, towels, an bottled water. Guests are also welcome to order off the counter service menus right from their “shack”; Cast Members are on-hand to take guests’ orders! Likewise, Disney’s Blizzard Beach offers 15 Polar Patios with similar amenities. Rental fees are season and begin at $225 plus tax during the off-season and increase to $340 plus tax during peak seasons.
Can I rent a cabana in Magic Kingdom Park?
You may have heard that Magic Kingdom recently began offering cabana service in the Tomorrowland area. These cabanas were piloted in late fall but have been removed as of February. As of right now, it’s unknown if Disney will offer this cabana service again.
If you’re interested in renting a cabana or patio at Walt Disney World, call 407-WDW-PLAY to make reservations. All rentals can be made up to 180 days in advance, and they must be prepaid when reserved. Reservations can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24-hours in advance of the rental date. Perhaps you might find yourself lounging in one of Disney’s lush cabanas or patios during your next trip to Disney World! After all, Disney might be synonymous with magic, but it’s a great spot for relaxation, too!
