Question: Do I have to buy my tickets from Disney to add the dining plan to my room reservation?

Answer: The quick answer to this is no. You can book a “ticketless package” that includes room and dining only. However, to be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan you must be staying at a Disney resort. If you were to get your tickets elsewhere (or you’re an AP) you can still add the dining plan to your resort reservation. The only caveat is that you cannot do it online. You must call, or, even easier, book your trip with a Travel Professional and they will handle this for you.
