With Christmas officially behind us, the question guests visiting the parks during the remaining days of December and early January are dying to know is “Will there still be Christmas decorations up when I get there?”
The answer is that it all depends. For arrivals before the end of December, you may still catch a glimpse of the last vestiges of Christmas. However, remember those Christmas elves that worked around the clock on October 31st and November 1st miraculously making the transition from Halloween to Christmas? Well the same team will be hard at work on January 1st and January 2nd removing all of these holiday trimmings. That means guests arriving the first week of January will see a dwindling of decorations with the majority of them being taken down by Marathon weekend (January 5-8th, 2017).
Timings may vary slightly across the theme parks, resorts and at Disney Springs. However, guests hoping for a big dose of Christmas will sadly need to wait until November!
