Q: How Can I Spend the Night in Cinderella Castle?
A: This has to be one of the questions we get asked about most regularly here at Disney Addicts. And while almost everything at Walt Disney World comes with a price tag (some higher than others) sadly a stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite simply can’t be bought.
The Suite, is nestled on the fourth floor of Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World. It was originally intended to be a space for Walt and his family to enjoy while visiting the parks. However, with Walt’s passing this was an idea that never came into fruition and the space remained largely unused until 2006 and when it was re-modeled into 650 sq ft. Suite that exists there today.
Disney did run a promotion in 2007 dubbed “The Year of a Million Dreams” where guests were selected at random each night to stay in the suite. Since then though, the room remains off the grid and is primarily used for sweepstakes, giveaways and the odd stay for celebrity guests like Tom Cruise and Katy Perry.
Though you may hear of the occasional Walt Disney World visitor being surprised at random with a stay at what could arguably be the most sought-after hotel room in the World. The closest most of us will get to a stay here will be adding it to our “Bucket Lists.” However, Disney has periodically released photos of the lush interior. Here’s a few images to give you a taste of Disney’s most-magical resort room.
Here’s a picture of the sitting room with custom sofa bed, beautiful stained glass windows and a mirror that magically transforms into a television! Though the view is hard to see from the windows it is reportedly of Prince Charming Regal Caroussel and looks out onto Fantasyland!
A bathtub fit for a princess can also be found in the Royal Chamber complete with mosaic tiling and a ceiling that mimics the night sky!
Finally, the absolutely magical bedroom features two queen-sized beds with headboards that feature Cinderella’s Royal Crest. There’s also a giant fireplace (complete with fiber optic fire) and a beautiful picture of Cinderella that again transforms into a television.
Who wouldn’t want to spend a night or two here! For those desperate to try their luck at a Castle stay, please visit our sister site Chip and Co where we keep you up to date on the latest giveaways and sweepstakes.
